If you have to deal with videos that are composed of multiple clips (lego blocks), Infuse Video can help you create full videos on the fly.
After uploading the separate clips to our platform, you can define static playlists, or define playlists for individual views on-the-fly. In those cases, we stitch together the separate clips in real time, immediately streaming them to the viewer. No need to create jobs or tasks or keeping track of them. No limits on content duration or number of segments either.
Today, Infuse Video supports video files (VOD), which includes traditional and dynamic video. We stream in HLS and MPEG-DASH, and support DRM as well. Live streaming is on our road map. Be sure to contact us if you have a killer use case.
The first version of our platform hosts and streams video, with a twist: it can stitch or splice segments together in real time. First step is to upload your segments.
Use our API to create rule-based playlists using simple JSON, or define your video using URL parameters. Our tech is back-end tech, and can replace existing vendors.
The viewer will retrieve the video content using their unique URL. Either use the Infuse Video web player, or bring your own video player. That's it!
We currently support HLS and MPEG-DASH streaming. On top of that, we support all major DRM flavors; PlayReady, Fairplay, Widevine, among others, supporting the vast majority of use cases required by most customers.
The API is an OpenAPI-compliant RESTful JSON API. We built an SDK for Python, and a CLI version is available for your convenience.
